Construction site visit with our scholarship students: insights, exchange & personal development
Our scholarship students from three universities visited a current construction project by our subsidiary Könning in Münster. On site, they gained authentic insights into the planning, execution, and challenges in landscaping, and later engaged in in-depth discussions with colleagues.
Engaging with young talent is much more than a financial commitment for us. We believe that a scholarship primarily stands for personal development, guidance and real practical experience. That is why we met with our three scholarship students at the Hüffer Campus construction project, which is being carried out by our subsidiary Könning.
On site, our site manager Jochen presented the project in detail and provided exciting insights into the planning, processes and challenges. For the scholarship students, this visit was a valuable opportunity to experience first-hand how complex, diverse and, at the same time, fascinating large-scale projects in horticulture and landscaping can be.
During the get-together that followed, they not only got to know Könning as a company better but above all made use of the open exchange with our colleagues. Conversations about group structures, personal experiences, career paths and practical questions about entering professional life rounded off the afternoon.
We greatly enjoyed giving the talents of tomorrow a direct insight into our working world. The inspiring discussions and the students’s strong impressed us, and we are already looking forward to the next joint event.
