We are strengthening our East Hub with the Otto Kittel Group

This long-established Berlin-based company employs around 200 staff and is one of the most renowned providers in the fields of gardening and landscaping, as well as green space and tree maintenance.

The group’s roots date back to 1932, when Otto Kittel founded the company of the same name in Berlin. After the Second World War, the company played a key role in the reconstruction and design of Berlin’s cityscape. Among its best-known projects are Berlin-Tempelhof Airport and Potsdamer Platz. Today, the company is run by the third generation of the family and has continuously expanded both its range of services and the scale of its projects.

From its head office in Berlin-Marienfelde and a branch in Zorbau near Halle/Leipzig, Otto Kittel serves public and commercial clients. The Zorbau site has its roots in the founding family’s region of origin and was established in 1996. The group is led by André Heyner. Its range of services is focused in particular on demanding large-scale projects in gardening and landscaping.

Kittel und Kruska emerged from the Otto Kittel Group in 2008 and has since specialised in green space and tree maintenance as well as landscaping. Under the leadership of Christopher Kruska, the company serves public, commercial and private clients from its base in Berlin-Zehlendorf, many of them under long-term maintenance contracts.

With the Otto Kittel Group, we are strengthening our presence in one of Germany’s most economically vibrant regions and systematically expanding our Eastern Hub. The Group complements us with additional capacity, complementary expertise and a broad portfolio of services in key business areas.
