In the heart of Dresden, the Hoym Quarter has emerged as a modern residential development whose outdoor spaces make a significant contribution to the quality of life and the overall urban landscape. Our scope of work included the complete construction of the outdoor facilities.
As part of the project, we were responsible for the construction of all the outdoor facilities within the residential estate. This included the creation of green spaces, paved roads, squares and paths, play areas and seating areas, decorative wall surfaces, and the installation of outdoor furniture. The scope of work was supplemented by intensive greening and paving on the roof terraces, as well as the construction of the adjacent historic pavements in the public space.
Particular challenges arose from the inner-city location, which meant we had to store all materials off-site. As a result, the materials could only be installed on a ‘just-in-time’ basis.
Furthermore, all areas were situated above the underground car park, meaning we had to take the relevant structural requirements into account.
